Automakers To Reduce Waiting Period for Renault Kwid and Mahindra KUV100

The recently unveiled Mahindra KUV100 has become a popular pick among the Indian auto enthusiasts. The model has crossed 21,000 booking since its launch. Due to the limited production strategy, the consumers need to wait for the delivery. But, the automakers are trying hard to deliver the vehicles to their valued customers on time and reduce their waiting period without creating much inconvenience.

Now, the automakers like Renault and Mahindra are receiving positive response from the Indian car buyers. Both the vehicles are popular among their respective segment. Realizing the success of the Kwid, the French automaker has announced to bring a 1.0-liter variant of Kwid hatchback, which will produce power output of 70PS. It will also offer an optional AMT gearbox. As per the recent stats, over 90,000 units of Kwid hatchback have been booked. The company intends to increase the present production rate to 10000 units per month.

Meanwhile, the KUV100, which is ruling the compact SUV segment offers 3 months waiting period for the petrol variant. This time, the petrol variant of the KUV 100 is into high demand. Presently, the model is being manufactured at Mahindra’s Chakan plant at a production rate of 5,500 units per month. witnessing the immense demand, the automaker will increase the production to 8,500 units per month soon.
