Today, Indian biking segment has seen the entrance of updated Pulsar RS 200 in an all new colour scheme. This new racing blue edition of the RS 200 has been launched in the domestic market in two trims of standard and ABS version. The standard trim is available to purchase at the price sticker of INR 1.47 lakh (on-road Mumbai). Whereas, the ABS iteration hit the dealership at the competitive cost of INR 1.62 lakh (on-road Mumbai). The enthusiasts who are thinking to buy a high-performance sports tourer under 1.5 lakh, can book for this demon, which is looking really appealing in blue racing livery in combination with white. The bookings have already begun at all the Bajaj dealerships.
Design wise, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is same to its ongoing model. But with new colour scheme, it also receives new artwork on graphics ends as the front wheel of the model is painted in blue, while the rear one is all black, which enhances the beauty of the RS 200.
Mechanically, this new racing blue edition remains unaltered and is powered by the same 199cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. That is rated to churn out 24bhp of maximum power along with the touring torque of 18.6Nm via a mated six-speed gearbox transmission.
With the introduction of this new blue paint scheme, the count of available options for the buyers has been increased to four. Now you have yellow, red, black and blue option to make a choice. Apart from this, the Pune-based manufacturer is hoping for improved sales numbers as the said trim has observed fewer sales within last few months. The automaker has surprisingly rolled out this updated trim side by side the KTM RC200.
