Well, the bumbling of the Bajaj Pulsar 200SS just doesn't come to an end. This is the first time when an upcoming motorcycle was being tested for so long. The Bajaj Auto is being busy in testing its all new upcoming Pulsar 200SS. The upcoming motorcycle is a little brother of the company's flagship Pulsar 220F, which belongs to the most-favored Bajaj Pulsar series. We all have seen the latest upcoming motorcycle in a complete manner. We are familiar with the curves and cues and the technical specifications of the 200cc motorcycle.
Till now, the Pulsar 200SS will be offered for the Indian two-wheeler market and the Turkey. Adding some more spice to that, the upcoming motorcycle was being spied testing over the Columbian streets. It clearly indicates that the new flagship motorcycle will be making its official appearance not only in India but in various other international countries. The spotted motorcycle was not camouflaged, but showing up the dual paint-scheme in a combination of Blue and White; Red and White. Few days back, the motorcycle was being snapped covered with yellow plastic, which clearly confirms the ABS braking system.
Before that, a video has also been released showcasing the all new Bajaj Pulsar 200SS being tested in the Ladakh valleys. The Bajaj Pulsar 200SS will be offered in various colors, which includes a full Black, Yellow and dual-tone paint scheme. Mechanically, the 200SS is pretty much similar to the Pulsar 200NS. As, both are featuring the very same single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC motor carrying an engine displacement of 199.5cc. The engine is tuned to belt out a total power of 23.2 BHP @ 9500 RPM and a peak torque of 18.3Nm @ 8000 RPM. The Pulsar 200SS will be equipped with fuel-injection system to improve the throttle response and fuel-efficiency.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200SS is expected to be priced in between Rs 1.30 Lacs to Rs 1.40 Lacs. And, about the launching of the upcoming motorcycle, it might get launched in the coming year, 2015.
