Bookings Commenced for Kawasaki Versys 1000, Arriving Soon

After receiving Ninja Series and Z-Series motorcycles, the Kawasaki is now introducing another range in India. Currently, the Indian Kawasaki portfolio is having small engined Ninja series and Z-series motorcycles. The newly introduced ER-6n has also made a successful entry in the Indian market and is capable to create its own huge fan list. After having a long list of sports motorcycles, now it's time to have an adventure tourer motorcycle for the Indian Kawasaki fans.

The Kawasaki is working to expand its Indian motorcycle portfolio by introducing the all new adventure tourer motorcycle, Kawasaki Versys 1000. The launching date is not yet confirmed, but the firm has started accepting bookings for the upcoming tourer motorcycle, Kawasaki Versys 1000. The bookings have commenced at the Pune dealership and soon it will be started in the South Indian market as well. The upcoming adventure tourer motorcycle is powered by an in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine carrying an engine displacement of 1043cc. The motor coupled to a 6-speed transmission and is tuned in that manner to belt out a total power of 118.3 BHP and a peak torque of 102Nm.

The Kawasaki Versys 1000 will get launched carrying a price tag of Rs 12.90 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Pune). It is also expected that the adventure tourer might get launched in the early 2015. One can book their dream motorcycle, Versys 1000 by giving the initial booking amount of Rs 5-6 Lacs. It features various electronic equipments such as 3-mode Kawasaki Traction Control System (KTRC) and various power modes. To enhance the riding quality, the firm has attached ABS as standard and improved long-travel suspension complimented with 17-inch alloy wheels.
