Camouflage Pulsar CS400 Test Mule Spied Again, Launch in Next Quarter

Recently, the spy images of the highly awaited cruiser sports motorcycle- Pulsar CS400 from the Pune based automaker, have been emerged in the motoring world via an Indian motoring website, Motoroids. The revealing images of the two test mules show the motorcycles covered in heavy camouflage. Once, the spotted two bikes indicate, the bike may be offered in two variants of ABS and non-ABS.

The images of the production version have been captured while chasing the test mules. That mostly unveiling the rear portion of the bike. The noted components of the mule were included exhaust with an aluminum cap in place of concept bike’s all black exhaust, showcased at the 2012 auto expo. The other features are the mandatory saree guard for pillion female passenger by the Indian RTO regulation and the Italian power cruiser- Ducati Diavel influenced tail lamp.

Other than this, the production version will be mounted on the regular telescopic front fork rather than the USD front forks and the fitted countered single seat in the showcased concept is also been replaced by the split seats. For stopping this effortless performance bike, the automaker will furnish this Pulsar CS400 with the front and rear disc and the ABS system can be figured in the top end variant of the motorcycle.

On powering, however, the Bajaj auto did not say a word officially, but Pulsar CS400 is likely to boast the same KTM’s single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with the displaced volume of 373.2cc. Furthermore, the engine may use the patent Bajaj’s triple spark technology. The generated power will be transferred to the rear wheel via a 6-speed transmission.

Mr. S Ravikumar, President (Business Development & Assurance), Bajaj Auto, also announced while speaking to the Economic Times, the company will invest the funds of INR 575 crores in this financial year and the bigger portion will be utilized for the launch of new products in the country. This statement also affirmed the launch of the Bajaj Pulsar CS400, the bike with relaxed sitting position and mind blowing performance in the coming third quarter of this year.
