It seems that the Hero Motocorp is working pretty hard to rule the scooter segment in the Indian two-wheeler market. Earlier, the firm has showcased its upcoming 110cc scooter in the Delhi Auto Expo, 2014 and now, it has already headed towards the production stage. According to the sources, the firm has commenced the production of the Hero Dash scooter from the Gurgaon based manufacturing facility. Accompanying the Hero Dash, a new variant of Hero Maestro is also rumored to come along. The upcoming variant is expected to be christened as Hero Maestro Edge 125 and it clearly vindicates from the name that it will going to be a 125cc scooter.
Following the success of the Hero Maestro, the upcoming scooter would be using a newly designed single-cylinder motor with an engine displacement of 125cc. The air-cooled engine would be expected to fetch out a maximum power of 9 BHP, which is greater than the 8 BHP of the standard variant. The Hero Maestro Edge 125 would perhaps be using new telescopic front forks and rear as well. A new body apparel, attractive color combinations, fresh-fangled graphics would be another expected highlights from the upcoming scooter.

You can anticipate the Hero Maestro Edge 125 to be coming in two variants, Disc and Drum.
