Honda PCX Electric Scooter Unveiled At Tokyo Motor Show 2017

Honda, a Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, gets a chance to showcase PCX all-new Electric Scooter at Tokyo Motor Show 2017. The scooter is destined keeping an urban population in mind and measures 1,923 mm long, 1,107 mm tall and 745 mm wide expansion.

The electric scooter has a 1.33 hp electric motor. Honda PCX electric is equipped with removable lithium-ion mobile battery naming Mobile Power Pack. The mobile power pack of the scooter is exclusively designed independently.

Simultaneously, the Honda PCX hybrid also displayed at TMS 2017. To enhance the internal combustion engine of PCX hybrid, it has an independent platform for a designed hybrid system which takes a high-output battery and ACG starter to support established internal combustion engine of the scooter.

The Honda PCX and PCX hybrid electric scooters will be launched in the Asian market (in Japan itself) in 2018. The launch date for both the two-wheelers in India is not announced by the company officially but we can expect the model to be presented in Auto Expo in New Delhi (where the theme is electric mobility).
