India Made VW Vento Receives 5 Star Rating by Latin NCAP

Recently, the fourth generation Honda City scored full in the Latin NCAP rating and now another model is here that has received 5-stars in the same crash test. This model is none other than Volkswagen Vento, which has been manufactured in India. While the automaker is going through a difficult phase, this score is surely something that is a matter of relief in the present situation. However, the Vento has earned 5-stars for just adult occupants along with a score of 14.73 out of 17, whereas for the child occupants it has received 3-stars and 34.16 score out of 49.

Since we are talking about the crash test here, it's logical to mention about the safety features that are equipped in this sedan that have helped it to score full. The list includes ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), dual front airbags, ISOFIX anchorages, front seatbelt pre-tensioners, side impact bars and seatbelt reminder. This VW offering has also been awarded a 'stable' certificate in the body integrity test.
