KTM Unveils 2017 RC200 and RC125 Splashed in New Colors

Knocking on the doors, the festive season has already started making a hustle all around. To make its presence noted in this joyful aura, KTM has also updated two of its small capacity sports tourers, the RC200 and RC125 for the MY 2017. Reported to be changed cosmetically, both the motorcycles are in charge to extend their life cycle until a facelift model gets into action by the end of next year. The next-gen RC trims are still a year away.

KTM has listed new colors on the official portal of the company as well, however, any word regarding their availability in India has not been confirmed yet. Contrary to the ongoing models, the new ones now look more rejuvenating owing to the impressive graphics. The signature orange color is there on the frame, wheels, and the logos. The RC125 is splashed in orange entirely with bits of white over the fairing.

Mechanicals on the both the bikes are armed with the same powertrain as that of the previous models. Packed with the single-cylinder, liquid-cooled units, the 199cc displacing engine performs transmission duties via a six-speed gearbox.

KTM RC200

The Australian manufacturer has unveiled its entire revamped adventure line-up at the Intermot 2016, while the news was also there that the updated RC390 will make its debut by 2017 end. Both of the aforementioned tourers will be premiered at the EICMA Motor Show starting next month.

Licensed from A2, the RC125 and RC200 will be available in the European market by the beginning of next year followed by the deliveries in India just after that. When it comes to the competitors, the new small-capacity sports bikes will lock the horns of the Yamaha YZF-R15, Bajaj Pulsar RS200, Honda CBR150R, and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.
