The British luxury SUV maker Land Rover has revealed its Range Rover SV Autobiography Edition prior its official launch at the New York Motor Show 2015. The car will be built on the made-to-order basis as it is a limited edition car. It has been developed by the Special Vehicle Division of the company and hence bears the name SV. Talking about the changes it has from the regular version then it has some notable ones to talk about and what I like the most is its rear seats which can be open outside when you wish to gaze upon the cars you're leaving behind. However, we're not sure about what safety measures have been taken with it.
Detailing more, it gets a new Graphic Atlas chrome grille, special lettering of the parent model Range Rover, four-tailpipe exhaust system at rear and many color schemes including 9 for the lower half. Inside the car, it has aluminum pedals, wooden trim, aluminum switch gear, automatically positionable tables and new floor mats as well. Under the bonnet, it'll be offering to choose from a SDV6 hybrid, SDV8 mill and a 5.0 Litre V8 engine as well which will be producing 548 bhp power and 608 Nm torque. All the engines will be equipped by a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission gear box.
Being such a luxurious and special edition car, the price also touches not less at all and will be available at nearly US $ 200,00 or INR 1.24 Crore. The deliveries of the car would start from the September this year or I should say it is expected.
