Audi India is launching the second generation model of A5 first time in India on October 5, 2017. The model last year launched internationally with huge expectations as the launch has taken 7 years after the launch of the first generation. With the great success of the model worldwide, the company planned to project it in India.
The company has only three coupes in the listing which are TT, R8, and A5. The company is going to launch A5 in both body styles; Cabriolet and Sportback. In the international market, the Audi A5 comes up with 4 or 6 cylinder engine and in India, it is specified that it will be launched with a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol and a 2.0-litre TDI diesel unit. The car adds flourishing attributes to A4 and makes it more stylish with the same compact-relish feel.
Audi has tried to retain some of the features same as the A4. The new A5 is available in grown size, swooping design, new front headlights, a heavy bonnet, single-frame grille, sharp bumper, and touch of sporty look like the other predecessor. A more significant signature shoulder line and longer wheelbase making it more viable than the comrade. Wheels are holding the place nicely with the size range of 17- to 19-inches with indicative back lining and give a fascinating look with all-LED 3D rear lights and well-carved bumper.
Interior is very classy and magnificent and gives a relish look to the cabin with multiple materials used to make is awesomely well. The dashboard is very elegantly designed with all the attributes and looks flawlessly alluring with multi color lighting available in the car. The more of attractions in the interior are virtual cockpit instrument, analogous speedometer, rev counter, smartphone compatible infotainment system, 19-speaker bang, Olufsen sound system, and 8.3-inch screen on the console.

Furthermore, the car is firmly composed for comfort also. The car has more of free space inside the car and rear seat is about 40:20:40 sized and there is the large area for the luggage also. It is powered by 2.0-litre petrol motor and 4-cylindered powerful engine. The car has 7-speed transmission. The maximum power driven by the A5 is 190 PS and maximum torque is 320 NM. internationally the car has available in the ultra version of the same engine which is very efficient and more powerful.
With pricing INR 44-50 lakh, the company is all ready to launch the A5 in October. The expected variant to launch in India is Cabriolet between Sportback and cabriolet.
