Audi India is launching the second generation model of A5 first time in India on October 5, 2017. The model last year launched internationally with huge expectations as the launch has taken 7 years after the launch of the first generation. With the great success of the model worldwide, the company planned to project it in India.

The company has only three coupes in the listing which are TT, R8, and A5. The company is going to launch A5 in both body styles; Cabriolet and Sportback. In the international market, the Audi A5 comes up with 4 or 6 cylinder engine and in India, it is specified that it will be launched with a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol and a 2.0-litre TDI diesel unit. The car adds flourishing attributes to A4 and makes it more stylish with the same compact-relish feel.

Audi has tried to retain some of the features same as the A4. The new A5 is available in grown size, swooping design, new front headlights, a heavy bonnet, single-frame grille, sharp bumper, and touch of sporty look like the other predecessor. A more significant signature shoulder line and longer wheelbase making it more viable than the comrade. The maximum power driven by the A5 is 190 PS and maximum torque is 320 NM. internationally the car has available in the ultra version of the same engine which is very efficient and more powerful.

With pricing INR 44-50 lakh, the company is all ready to launch the A5 in October. The expected variant to launch in India is Cabriolet between Sportback and cabriolet.
