Mahindra XUV 300 W8 (O) Variant Caught at Dealership

In the latest link to the popular Mahindra XUV 300 compact SUV, there has been W8 (O) variant spotted recently in the dealership which is scheduled to be launched on 14 February.

The W8 (O) variant is said to the top be premium variant with all the necessary and luxury features within the model. The model will be sporting leather upholstery, multi-colour instrument cluster, keyless start/stop, driver’s height adjust with adjustable front seatbelts, TPMS, a tyre position display, electric ORVMS, reverse camera, automatic headlamps and wipers, four speakers with two tweeters, and rear seat armrest.

The official name of the compact SUV codenamed S201 is the Mahindra XUV300 which will be launched on 14 February 2019 in India. It is based on the SsangYong Tivoli, which was at first manufactured for the developed markets. Mahindra & Mahindra claims that the forthcoming compact SUV will be of the best quality and well-built product till now in the company’s product line-up.

The styling of XUV300 is taken from the XUV500. The company formerly disclosed that the XUV300 will have the best-in-segment features which include seven airbags, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail-lights, sunroof and LED projector headlamps. The styling which is inspired by the Cheetah made its debut in 2011 in the larger XUV500 and now it will come back in the XUV300 with fresh looks.

 

The cabin will be of dual tone black and beige colours. The dashboard has a touchscreen infotainment system and with chrome bezels a large air-cons on both the ends. Controls for audio and calls are set on the new steering wheels.

The XUV300 will be offered in two variants-petrol and diesel powertrains and the company has not yet disclosed the technical specifications for the vehicle but it is said that the compact SUV will get a newly-developed 1.2-litre G80 turbocharged petrol powertrain and a 1.5-litre diesel powertrain. The price of XUV300 is expected to range between Rs 8-12 lakhs (ex-showroom).
