Bengaluru-based electric startups, Okinawa Scooters and Fae Bikes have joined hands in order to expand the use of electric vehicles in the city. Fae bikes is a platform which offers electric bikes on rent. Anyone interested can book for the scooter on rent via the company’s app. The time duration for the scooter on rent can vary from a short duration of 20 minutes to maximum 20 days. The three major areas of the city including Electronics City, HSR Layout and BTM Layout, avail customers with this renting service.
The scooter which is on offer is the Okinawa Ridge Plus. It is a comfortable ride which ensures security on any kind of road conditions. However, it is more suitable on urban roads with easy maneuverability. The factor which made the Fae bikes to include Okinawa Ridge Plus to its fleet.

The propelling power for the Ridge Plus comes from a lithium-ion battery pack that supplies the travel range of 120km per charge and the top speed of 50kmph as claimed. Also, available on sale in Bengaluru, the scooter comes equipped with features such as central locking with anti-theft alarm system, keyless entry and find my scooter functionality.
