Suzuki Gixxer SF Appeared Officially, Prices Out

The Suzuki Motorcycles India has recently made an update on their official Indian website, and the updated website is now showcasing the all new and most awaited Suzuki Gixxer SF. The Suzuki Gixxer SF has finally launched in the country carrying a pretty affordable price tag of Rs 83,889 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). However, we all know very well that the Suzuki Gixxer SF is nothing, but a fully-faired version of the lately introduced Suzuki Gixxer in the year 2014. As per the company, the newly launched motorcycle has acquired an aerodynamic styling and the livery is pretty much inspired by the Suzuki Hayabusa, GSX-R and various other MotoGP Edition motorcycles.

Just for a recap, the Suzuki Gixxer SF gets a single-cylinder power-train carrying an engine displacement of 154.9cc. The air-cooled motor gets tuned to fetch out a maximum power of 14.6 BHP @ 8000 revs and achieves a peak torque of 14 Nm @ 6000 RPM. The 154.9cc displaced engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. It has carried a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters and weighs 4 kg more than the naked Gixxer model.

The riding quality has been taken care by the Telescopic front forks and 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. The stopping power is provided by single disc at the front and drum at the rear. The motorcycle gets an LED taillight, similar digital instrument console along with gearshift indicator and clear lens indicator. The highlighted feature of the Suzuki Gixxer SF is the dual exhaust tail covered up with a muffler.

Alike, its naked sibling, the faired version has also made a stimulating entry as an entry-level street sports motorcycle in the Indian market. The manufacturer has called it up "The Street Sports Bike". The brochure of the Suzuki Gixxer SF is equivalently attractive as the MotoGP livery edition motorcycle is featured with Salman Khan.
