TVS Apache RR 310S is the first full fairing motorcycle from the bike maker. It is based on the BMW G310R and is jointly developed by the TVS and BMW Motorrad. The patent sketch of the same has been leaked online. Well, the image is not that clear, yet it is revealing the fairing and other components of the bike that includes chiseled fuel tank, step-up split seat, mono shock, disc brake, etc.
The manufacturing of the BMW G310R based Apache RR310S will take place at the Hosur, Tamil Nadu based TVS Motor Company’s manufacturing unit. If the BMW G310R is concerned, the bike is on sale in the international markets while its India launch has been held by the bike maker, which was earlier expected by this festive season. The patent image leak of Apache RR310S suggests its arrival at the dealerships soon in the coming months.
At the powertrain, the RR310S is equipped with the similar 313cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that is rated to exhale out the maximum power of 34bhp along with 28Nm peak torque.
The Indian launch of the Apache RR310S is under darkness, but it is expected that this entry-level sports bike from TVS will launch soon. Speculations are as early as September this year. In terms of pricing, it is likely to carry the price sticker under INR 2 Lakh. But, if the auto major managed to tag it with an aggressive price sticker near about INR 1.75-1.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will surely become one of the most preferred bikes in this fastest growing motorcycle segment.
