TVS Apache RR One Make Series Names Revealed, To Start In June 2018

TVS Racing has announced the final list of names containing 12 participants for the Apache RR One Make Series. These 12 racers will participate in the first edition of the TVS Apache RR One Make Series and will be taken place as the section of the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC). Scheduled to begin from June 2018, the racers will compete with the Race Spec Apache RR 310 motorcycles.

The specifications about the Race Spec Apache RR 310 is not announced yet but we expect the bike to generate an output power of 45 HP. This motorcycle will generate nearly 30-35% more power and torque output as compared to the stock motorcycle’s existing 33.5 HP and 27 Nm respectively. The motorcycle utilizes an aluminum trellis frame and as well equipped with various lightweight aluminum components. In order to handle the extra torque and power, the TVS Apache RR 310 Cup Racer obtains superior brakes, stiffer suspension setup, and track-specific tyres.

With the style updates, the Apache RR 310 Cup Racer looks slightly different as compared to the stock Apache RR 310. The Apache RR 310 Cup Racer obtains more pronounced headlamp bases, a taller windscreen, fairing-mounted aerofoils for improved aerodynamics. Further, it has a race-tuned Electronic Control Unit (ECU), improved induction system, a free-flow exhaust and modified footpeg to give the bike racy ergonomics.

The TVS Apache RR One Make Series is expected to begin in June 2018. The event will take place in Coimbatore, Chennai, and Noida (BIC). Riders were selected on the bases of the fastest lap times in MMRT, Chennai. Contestants will ride the Race Spec Apache RR 310 during the race. This track specific bike provides a power of 45+ HP with lots of changes.
