TVS NTorq SXR, Race Variant Unleashed, Spawn Out 20+ HP

TVS Motor Company that is one of the leading rickshaw and moped manufacturer in India, has revealed the NTorq SXR scooter. It is a race variant based on the brand’s newly launched the NTorq 125. The NTorq SXR will participate in fourth round at the Indian National Rally Championship 2018 in Nashik. The championship is scheduled to happen on 25th and 26th May.

Three times national championship winner Syed Asif Ali and Shamim Khan, will ride the scooter. TVS NTorq SXR is considered as the successor of the SXR 160 and share similar design cues from the standard Ntorq 125. Furthermore, a host of decals and steel wheels alloys are the major highlights of the scooter.

TVS NTorq Race Edition

Powering for the NTorq SXR will come from a 4-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is capable of generating the peak power of 20 bhp power and easily attaining the top speed of 120kmph. In order to get these mentioned figures, the company has made some sort of enhancements such as race-tuned hydraulic suspension, race-tuned intake and exhaust system and an optimised ignition system as well.

Post the Indian National Rally Championship 2018 in Nashik, the TVS Ntorq SXR will also attend some other rallies such as the Gulf Monsoon Scooter Rally that is about to happen sometime in July.
