One of the stylish and youth-oriented scooters from Yamaha India, the Cygnus Ray-ZR has now got a new color scheme to freshen up the color palette of the scooter. Here, the scooter is being offered in both the disc and drum brake variants. The top end disc brake variant is priced at INR 55,898 whereas to opt one with drum brake unit you will have to spend the sum of INR 53,451. both the prices are applicable at ex-showroom Delhi.
The powering for the Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR comes from an air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, 113 cc, “BLUE CORE” engine. With a weight of 103kg, the scooter in question is a lightweight unit that makes it a user-friendly offering.
Furthermore, incorporated with the brand's patented Blue Core technology, the scooter is rated to offer best in class fuel economy of 66km/L. Other features include 21-litres under seat storage, tubeless tyres and instrument cluster with ambient lighting.
the colour options which are on offer with this stylish Ray ZR are Armada Blue (Disc), Matt Green (Disc/Drum), Maverick Blue (Disc/Drum), Rooster Red (Disc) along with the existing Darknight Edition (Disc) for young riders.
As of now, the India Yamaha Motor's scooter lineup consists of the Cygnus Ray Z dedicated to catering young people, the family-focused Cygnus Alpha and the fashion scooter Fascino.

By introducing new colors in Cygnus Ray ZR, the company will look forward to reinstate fresh excitement in this segment.
