The Japanese giant- Yamaha, well-known for its performance oriented bikes across the globe, has raised expectations a lot in the biking aficionados, after the launch of the YZF-R3. But since then, any piece of information regarding the development of any new motorcycle in the entry-level performance bike segment has not emerged. Now, a batch of spy images has slipped out online all the way from Delhi. A new motorcycle signifying recent Yamaha naked bikes in terms of styling has been caught while performing test rounds on Delhi highway.
If have a closer look at the spy images, it will let you know that the equipped engine assembly seems to borrow from the Brazil-bound Yamaha Fazer 250. The 249cc oil-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor as claimed is rated to churns out 20.7PS of power and around 20.4Nm of peak torque. The power output is meant to dispatch to the rear wheel via a mated 5-speed constant-mesh gearbox transmission. This upcoming FZ 250 is anticipated to comply the BS-IV emission norms which are going to be effected soon in India.
Moving to the aesthetics end, the prototype is embellished with the featuring consist of a flatter handlebar, split seat, centre-placed foot pegs and excellent knee recess for a dynamic yet comfortable riding position.
