Yamaha M-Slaz Showcased as Xabre 150 in Indonesia

Valentino Rossi, Brand Ambassador, Yamaha Motors Indonesia, has launched the premium 2016 M-Slaz in Indonesia as Xabre 150. Inheriting the design specifications from the Yamaha MT series, the bike has been launched at a price of IDR 29.8 million (INR 1.46 lakh).

On the performance note, the 2016 Yamaha Xabre 150 gets power from a 150cc liquid cooled, SOHC, single-cylinder motor, which is transmitted via a six-speed unit. 16BHP of the peak power alongside 14.3NM of utmost torque define its engine capabilities. Single disc brake upfront and at the rear stops the bike, performing their braking duties pretty well. Besides, the new machine is based on Yamaha Deltabox frame.

Dimension-wise, it measures 1959mm in length, 795mm in width and 1065mm in height. Moreover, the Xabre 150 has a wheelbase of 1350mm. The seat height measures 805mm with 164mm of ground clearance. With 10.2 litre fuel tank, the kerb weight the bike carries is 135 kgs. Showcased at the IIMS 2016 in Indonesia, the sportster gets extensive designing with three different paint schemes- Black Dagger, Gunmetal Katana, and Silver Clarent. Apart from the paint and graphics, the model is pretty identical to the Thailand variant.

Coming over to the features, the 2016 Xabre includes full LED headlights and instrument panel. As far as the India launch is concerned, the M-Slaz for Thailand and the Xabre for Indonesia is anticipated for the debut later this year. Additionally, it would likely to carry a price tag of INR 1.35 lakh.
