Lava Launches Helium 14 Laptop: The First Ever Laptop By Lava At Just Rs. 14,999

Lava, the indigenous mobile and tablet maker, has launched a new laptop dubbed as Helium 14 with a price tag of Rs. 14,999. The company has joined hands with Microsoft and Intel to launch it's first ever laptop. The latest launched Lava laptop has a full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display and a sleek lightweight design. The Helium 14 laptop is already available to buy from the e-commerce website Flipkart and will soon be also made available via offline retail stores and other multi-brand outlets across Delhi NCR, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.

This Lava laptop comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home Edition and has been powered by an Intel Atom processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device sports a 14.1-inch full-HD display and has an internal storage capacity of 32GB that can b further expanded up to 128GB by the use of microSD card. The laptop is powered by a 10,000mAh battery, which has been claimed to offer "all day usage" by the company. In lieu to provide security to the hardware, the Helium 14 laptop has been equipped with microchip called Trusted Platform Module (TPM). The laptop weighs 1.4kg and has been made available in Silver and Purple color variants by the company.

Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Country General Manager, Consumer & Devices Sales at Microsoft India, commented on the launch by saying, "We have been working closely with our partners to develop powerful yet affordable personal computing devices to enable Digital India. We are happy to collaborate with Lava to create devices that run on a secure and robust Windows 10 platform, which provides users with enhanced productivity, improved functionality and unified experiences."
