Lenovo Ideapad Y700 Launched in India With Cool Accessories

Lenovo - the Chinese technology company is known not just for its smartphones but also as a leading developer of laptops and other consoles. Taking into stride the same factor, the company has now added another laptop to its lineup of gaming laptops.

The new laptop dubbed as Ideapad Y700 has been priced at Rs 99,990 for the 16GB variant while its 8GB variant has been priced at Rs 91,990 and would be made available for purchase via company's official online store. To entice its users the company has also decided to add a pinch of lucrative offers that includes a free Lenovo Y Gaming Backpack and accessories worth Rs. 12,999 which are available to customers at a very special price of just Rs. 2,499.

Detailing the offer, the accessories include Lenovo Y Gaming surround sound headset which comes with a 7.1 virtual surround sound and is also VoIP-ready with built-in controls coupled with a Lenovo Y Gaming mouse with five levels of adjustable weight and lastly a Lenovo Y Gaming mechanical switch keyboard that offers up to six customizable keys for macro recording.

Laptops form an important part of college going students, and hence company's Indian outlet Lenovo India has announced an additional 3 years of warranty that has been estimated at Rs 4,499 along with 3 years of accidental damage protection cover.

Announcing the new Y700 laptop, Bhaskar Choudhuri, Director, Marketing Lenovo India, said, "The new Y700 is a testimony to Lenovo's constant innovation and pursuit to create new categories that enhance the consumer experience. Traditionally, gaming PCs are seen as bulky and heavy but the Lenovo Y700 is sleek and portable. At the same time, it offers the experience, performance, and versatility that gamers look for."

In terms of specifications, the Lenovo Ideapad Y700 laptop features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display and is powered by an Intel Core i7-6700 HQ processor. It offers two RAM choices (one having 16GB of RAM while the other having 4GB RAM) both of which offers 4GB Nvidia graphics card.

The device operates on Windows 10 Home version and comes with 1TB inbuilt storage along with 128GB SSD storage option. The laptop comes equipped with Dolby audio JBL speakers and the company claims that the laptop comes with 'optimized thermal cooling technology' which would surely be an important point to consider upon.
