Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Reference Smartphone and Tablet Goes on Sale

Since the setup of Qualcomm, the company was fully dedicated to offer its services to different mobile manufacturing companies by offering high end processors. Recently, it was revealed by the sources that Sony's flagship phone Sony Xperia Z4 will be given Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit chipset. But now, the company has setup its mind to add few handheld devices in its products list. According to some sources, Qualcomm has launched few new devices with its intentions to offer the ultimate power capsule through its own products. Initially it has added two devices in its shell named as Snapdragon 810 MDP Smartphone and Snapdragon 810 MDP Tablet.

Diving into the technicalities of 810 (Mobile Development Platform)MDP smartphone, it is equipped with 6.2 inch display added with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 Ultra HD processor. Talking about its other details, it is having Adreno 430 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB storage added more with a 13MP rear camera and 4MP front camera. 3020mAh power bank is also granted to this smartphone. But the availability of fingerprint scanner and Android 5.0 are the additional gifts offered with it. Presently, the device will be available to registered companies with a price tag of $799.

Moving on to the other entrant in the list i.e. Snapdragon 810 MDP Tablet, it is having a size of 10.1 inch with a resolution power of 3840px X 2160px. In addition to that, the same processor and camera have been installed to this tablet too. But apart from those common features, it has been given dual 3D IR gesture cameras, and a 7050mAh battery. This tablet too will be made available to the registered companies at a price tag of $999.

As per the availability is concerned, these two reference devices will start selling from mid-December. Although these are developed for early adopters such as developers, a normal user can too purchase this device.
