Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with Top-end Features Expected to Come in June

It seems, Samsung is quite busy in this session, where it has been appearing in headlines due to leaks of its upcoming Galaxy J series, Galaxy A8, Tizen-based Z2 and rugged handsets and this raft of new mobile phones is expected to be launched in coming days. And now, a report of Sammobile suggests that corporation is also working on the segment of tablets, where it is prepping to debut a legitimate successor of Galaxy Tab S: Galaxy Tab S2 in June.

This gadget has been claimed to come in two display variants, where first model will feature 8-inch screen size and second will be bigger with 9.7-inch display just like recently-announced Galaxy Tab A 8.0 and Tab A 9.7. As per informant, both the version will be decked with Super AMOLED display, which will confer a pin-sharp pixel resolution of 2048 x 1536p.

The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 will measure dimensions of 198.2 × 134.5 × 5.4 mm and 237.1 × 168.8 × 5.4 mm respectively. The tabs will be light-weighted and handy with weighing of 260 grams and 407 grams respectively. If the reports are to be believed, then gadgets will be the thinnest tablets in the world with 5.4mm of thickness, which is less than 6.1mm thin Apple iPad Air and 6mm thick Dell Venue 8 7840.

This unofficial handheld has been said to be loaded with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and might incorporate 64-bit Exynos processor in its shell. On the memory front, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage with support of microSD card slot have been mentioned in report. Touching the subject of imaging, device will come with an 8-megapixel primary camera alongside a 2.1-megapixel selfie snapper.

Moreover, firm will bring Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE variants of 8-inch and 9.7-inch models and both tablets will be released worldwide, including the US, Canada, European markets, China, Latin America, Hong Kong, Korea and India, says Sammobile.
