The Renovated Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 Coming with Iris Scanner

The South Korean giant: Samsung seems on a launching-spree in this session, where it is diversifying every segment of its offerings in order to capture the marketplace of smart devices. After launching two beautifully-designed device: Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge and being in rumors due to upcoming lineup of rugged handsets such as Galaxy Xcover 3 and Galaxy S6 Active, Samsung has started yet another campaign of improving security and privacy levels of its devices by incorporating a highly accurate security functionality: (IOM).

And, in this sequence company did partnership with a nonprofit corporation founded by Stanford University: SRI (Stanford Research Institute) to introduce an accurate and reliable biometric system, called "Iris on the Move (IOM)" in its devices. Notably, SRI International has stated that "The initial product for this supply agreement will be a customized Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet with a built-in IOM iris module."

Apparently, original Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet had seen light of the day during MWC 2014 and now its improved version with eye-based biometric solution has been claimed to provide easy-to-use, accurate and faster biometric identity management solutions to consumers. This eye-based technology has been boasted as “1,000 times more accurate than fingerprint sensors for authenticating users.” To recall, ZTE has already adapted eye-based security technology evolved by EyeVerify for Grand S3.

As per SRI, the well-designed and revamped Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 will be exhibited on the shelves of ISC West 2015, which is going to be held in Las Vegas from April 15 to April 17.
