Alcatel, the Chinese smartphone maker has launched it's two latest A-series mobiles in India - Alcatel A5 LED and the A7. Both these latest mobiles are budget smartphones and have been made exclusively via Amazon India. It must be noted that the Alcatel A5 LED was unveiled at MEC 2017 and Alcatel A7 at IFA 2017. The company is touting LED-light flashing back cover as the highlighting feature for the A5 LED and big battery along with multitasking and gaming performance for the Alcatel A7 handset.
The Alcatel A7 price starts at Rs. 13,999 and will come bundled with the TCL Moveband fitness tracker, worth Rs. 2,499. It's also a dual-sim supporting device that operates on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display and has been powered by an octa-core MediaTek MTK6750T SoC clocked up to 1.5GHz, coupled along with 4GB of RAM. The device offers 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded via microSD card. The device has been backed by a huge 4000mAh battery support for fast charging. the connectivity options included are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi Direct, and NFC. The Alcatel A7 will be available to buy in Metallic Black and Metallic Gold color variants via Amazon India. On the optics front, the A7 has been embedded with a 16-megapixel sensor with a f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and a dual-tone flash and on the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with an 84-degree wide-angle view and a front flash.

The Alcatel A5 LED has been priced at Rs. 12,999 for the Indian buyers via Amazon and will come bundled with 3100mAh POWER+ MOD battery cover in the box, worth Rs. 3,999. This a dual-SIM supporting device that operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and sports a 5.2-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. This latest Alcatel mobile has been powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC coupled along with 3GB of RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded via microSD card. The connectivity options included in it are 4G VoLTE, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.2 and has been backed by a 2800mAh battery. The Alcatel A5 LED will be available in Metallic Silver color option. The Alcatel A5 LED comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash along with a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfies and video calls.
