HTC U12 Plus Specifications, Design Leaked Ahead of Launch

HTC, Taiwan smartphone manufacturing is likely to unveil its latest flagship smartphone for 2018 and the ongoing rumors are suggesting that company is planning to launch, likely to be dubbed as HTC U12+. World- Renowned Tipster, Evan Blass has revealed some images along with specifications of upcoming HTC flagship smartphone. Earlier it was rumored that the HTC will unveil the flagship smartphone in April but the recent reports are suggesting that now the smartphone will unveil in May due to the issues in the manufacturing process. The upcoming smartphone has been codenamed with HTC Imagine.

If the recent rumors and images turned out to be true, the HTC U12+ is likely to feature a thin bezel which looks similar to U11 and the U11+. It is speculated that it might come with a quad camera setup comprises dual on the front and dual on the rear. According to the leaked images, it seems that fingerprint sensor is positioned below the horizontally aligned rear camera setup and also has a LED flash.

The leaked reports are suggesting that it will be powered by a latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM with the internal storage options 64GB and 128GB. It is speculated that it could feature a 6-inch LCD panel with WQHD+ resolution. It seems that it could run on latest operating system Android Oreo.


The specifications mentioned here are in accordance with the previous leak reports, in terms of optics, it is rumored that HTC U12+ might come with the dual 8MP front-facing camera on the top- notch and its design and arrangement looks similar to the recently launched HTC U11. It is likely to come with dual- rear camera set-up which comprises 16MP + 12MP sensors. Under the hood, it could pack a 3420mAh battery and rumored that come with updated HTC Edge Sense 2.0. Moreover, due to the development problems the launch date of HTC U12+ has been shifted by the company from April to May.
