Huawei Launches Y6 (2017) with 5MP Front Flash Camera, 3000mAh Battery

Huawei, the Chinese smartphone maker company, has launched a new smartphone on Wednesday dubbed as Huawei Y6 (2017). This latest launched Huawei smartphone is in an addition to the Y series mobiles that comes with the highlighting feature of the 13MP rear camera and a 3000mAh battery. It must be noted that like other Huawei Y series mobiles that also operates on Android Marshmallow. The device will soon be made available in the White, Gold, and Gray color variants, however, it must be noted that the pricing and the exact date of availability ahs yet not been announced by the company.

The latest launched Huawei Y6 (2017) operates on company's EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. The handset has been powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. On the camera front, the Huawei Y6 (2017) comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera having dual-LED flash and on the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies that also has flash support.

The Huawei Y6 (2017) has 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 4G connectivity along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. As stated above, the Y6 (2017) has been equipped with a 3000mAh battery and has sensors like - accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, and ambient light sensor. The device measures 143.8x72.0x8.5mm and weigh around 150 grams.

Earlier this month, the renowned Chinese mobile maker, had launched the Y7 smartphone with hybrid dual-SIM, EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The handset has been incorporated with a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display with 2.5D glass on top. The smartphone has been powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM.
