LG X Power Equipped With 4100mAh Battery Launched in India

South Korean firm LG has been releasing a number of smartphones in India from a long time. Taking the same legacy ahead, it has now launched another product in the country dubbed under the moniker of LG X Power. The new product has been released by the company in two color variants namely Black and Gold and for a price tag of Rs 15,990. As per reports, the company would likely be making the product available in a day or two. One must not forget that LG X Power got launched in UK region quite some time back only.

Talking about the software and other internal specifications of the Android smartphone, it is observed that it operates on Android Marshmallow v6.0 OS and is a Dual-SIM smartphone. Its display is of HD quality exactly 5.3-inches that give a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card with no precise details on the exact expansion supportable by the device.

At the time of release, Amit Gujral, Marketing Head LG stated, "We are relentless in our pursuit to ensure that all our products enable peoples' life to become easier, efficient and help them work smarter. Today in India, we all are witnessing the 4G LTE evolution at a very fast pace and this technology brings the excessive use of videos, music, streaming etc., which are battery consumption intensive features. Keeping in view of consumer's needs, LG XPower brings huge 4100mAh battery that runs longer under heavy multimedia use."

On the camera front, LG X Power supports a 13-megapixel camera on the rear side equipped with a LED flash, and a 5-megapixel camera on the front end - a boon for selfie lovers. The GSM-handset houses a large 4100mAh battery and offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1 as the connectivity options. The smartphone on the physical dimensional part measures 148.9x74.9x7.9mm and carries a weight of 139 grams.

As per the company, apart from the larger battery, the smartphone also comes with PE+technology, that helps the smartphone in fast charging. At the time of release, the company stated, "It's Fast Charging technology PE+ makes it almost [twice as fast to charge compared to] other batteries." Last but not the least, the gadget comes with some additional features too like an auto shot, the film effect, the gesture selfie and the quick share.
