OnePlus 6 Will be Launched in June 2018 with 845 SoC Processor

According to the recent rumors, it is revealed that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus is likely to launch OnePlus 6 in the second quarter of 2018. OnePlus 5 was launched by the company in the previous year in June month and the company is trying to maintain the flagship status of the smartphone. The name of upcoming smartphone yet has not been confirmed by CEO of OnePlus but it is expected that it will come with the name tag of OnePlus 6.

In a recent interview with CNET at CES 2018, CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau has confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and also stated that the company will be collaborating with the US telecom carriers in the coming months to sale the smartphones. Lau said, “If the right opportunity and right timing come along, we'll be very happy to experiment”, but he denied to give more information when the deal will be signed. It will be quite exciting if the Chinese company successfully manages to carry forward their business with US carriers especially when the Huawei failure to do this.

To recall, two smartphones OnePLus 5 and the OnePlus 5T were launched by the company in the previous year. Lately, OnePlus also introduced the Star Wars Edition, Sandstone White and Lava Red variants.

Under the hood, OnePlus 5T has a 6.01-inch full HD display along with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and also has a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor which is clocked up to 2.45GHz. The OnePlus runs on 7.1.1 Nougat - out- of the box and supports OxygenOS 4.7. It featuring a face unlock feature and the company claims that it is based on advanced facial recognition system and also has a fingerprint sensor at the rear side of the smartphone. In terms of optics, OnePlus 5T sports a 16MP primary camera featuring a 1.12-micron pixel and a 20MP Sony IMX376K front facing camera. The smartphone is powered by a 3300mAh non-removable battery. It is available in Midnight Black color.
