OnePlus, Shenzhen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer has launched the second flagship smartphone of 2018, dubbed as OnePlus 6T at an event in New York on October 29. The smartphone manufacturer has to prepone the launch event to avoid the clashes with Apple's October event is scheduled on the same date i.e., 30 October.
The device has the same set of specifications as surfaced on the internet in recent leaks. It has a small notch on the top of the display and comes with advanced under- display fingerprint scanner.
OnePlus, always offered its flagship smartphone at an affordable price as compared to other smartphone manufacturers such as Google, Samsung and more.
For the first time in the history of OnePlus, the company has partnered with US carrier (T-Mobile) to sell the OnePlus 6T directly rather than depending for online purchases. It has been launched in mirror black and midnight (matte) black.
As expected, OnePlus has finally unveiled the flagship OnePlus 6T in India on 30 October at an event scheduled in New Delhi. In India, it has been launched at a price tag of Rs 37,999, Rs 41,999 and Rs 45,999 for 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage respectively.
It will be available for purchase at Amazon.in, OnePlus,in, Reliance Digital outlets and Croma. Apart from that, it will be available at pop-up stores across India. A full list of pop-up stores has mentioned on the OnePlus India site.
Apart from e-commerce platforms, it will also be made available at OnePlus' own offline stores which goes on sale from November 3.
The exciting launch offers of OnePlus 6T have been listed on Amazon India and it goes on sale from 1st November (Thursday) 2018. Citibank credit card holders and ICICI Bank Debit/ Credit Card holders are entitled to avail Rs 2000 instant cashback in their respective accounts on OnePlus 6T.

OnePlus 6T Specifications
The OnePlus 6T features a 6.41-inch OLED screen which offers the screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, 402 ppi pixels density. For the first time in the history of OnePlus smartphones, the company has offered under- display fingerprint scanner in 6T which dubbed as “Screen Unlock” Technology. OnePlus touted as it renders fastest-performing implementation than the physical reader.
Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC bundled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. One must note that the 6T does not support microSD card.

OnePlus 6T comes with a water drop style notch on the top of the display which is the USP of the device. The ‘chin’ on the top bezel is smaller rather than the other Android smartphones which are offering all-screen design smartphones. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3,700mAh battery which is a 400 mAh more than the OnePlus 6.
For photography, the OnePlus 6T packs dual 16MP+20MP sensors on the rear panel. The primary lens has an aperture of f/1.7. The rear camera set up features optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS).
OnePlus has introduced a new Nightscape feature that allows the users to capture clear photos during low-light conditions. A new Studio Lighting feature has been developed in partnership with photographer Kevin Abosch keeping in mind to capture appreciative photos.
For selfies and video calling, the OnePlus 6T has 16MP front-facing camera offering an aperture of f/2.0 and 1-micro pixels. The front camera supports EIS and the users can record 1080p video at 30fps and 720p video at 30fps.
The OnePlus 6T runs on top of the line Android 9 Pie based on the company-owned OxygenOS. It has been equipped with ‘Fullscreen Gesture 2.0' feature which is the key highlights of OnePlus 6T. It allows the users to perform tasks quickly on the device by enabling options like swiping down, swiping up, Go To Home Screen, Back and more.
OnePlus has gained a strong presence across the globe by offering speedy, powerful Android smartphones at an affordable price.
