The long time of wait has finally reached to its end when the South Korean juggernaut has kicked off two most astonishing flagship smartphones - Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in New Delhi at an event. We had had a glimpse of both at MWC in Barcelona and now both have reached to India and will soon reach in stores. Preorder for both the devices will also start from today. So if you are the one who was waiting for the edged device or a straight one, then you can go for completing the preorder process.
Well, we have talked much about the latest Samsung Galaxy flagship at the time of its initial launch. Even rumours and leaks also collected to create a big hoopla for material and design. Anyways, both devices are now out for Indians. So, let’s talk about the prices, before elaborating the specs, and then we can recon both.
Price to be SurPRISE
Samsung has revealed the prices after creating a huge boondoggle at the event. The Galaxy S6 has been priced at Rs. 49,900 for 32GB model while 64GB and 128GB models have been set to sell at Rs. 55,900 and Rs. 61,900 respectively. On the other side, the more premium Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has been priced at Rs. 58,900, Rs. 64,900 and Rs. 70,900 for 32GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively. However, all three variants of both handsets will hit the market on April 10, 2015. Currently, you can preorder the device to book yours.
Too good to be True with Matchless Design
Both are designed to offer seamless and benign experience by engineering the devices with metal. Tech giant has learnt from its previous mistakes and ditched its plastic body to build 2015’s flagships. And, here is the result – the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge with all-metal unibody. Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on front and back panel is just spellbinding as not a single premium device of the manufacturer did arrive with such unbeatable craftsmanship.
The next uncommon thing to knock you down with feather takes you to the Galaxy S6 Edge. With same glass panels and metal unibody, it still differs in design because of its dual edged display. Two tiny displays which curve-down to the edges of phone, are designed to solve the purpose of controlling music and accessing contacts instantly. However, the curved phone is thicker than the Galaxy S6 (6.8mm) with 7mm profile.

Let’s move to another important section which plays a very important part in deciding the fate of any device. Well, both Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 have identical specification except the battery which is powerful in S6 Edge (2,600mAh) than Galaxy S6 (2,550mAh). Both flagship smartphones have fingerprint scanner and heart rate monitor on front and back panel respectively.
16MP OIS camera on rear and 5MP on front, Android Lollipop with TouchWiz UI is adorable. LTE cat. 6 network connectivity, Exynos octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display are impressive enough to hold the crown, but the absence of microSD card slot and non-removable battery may bring it down. However, the company is offering three storage variants and several colors for each to hide its disappointing factors.
