Samsung Galaxy S10 Series Smartphones Launched In India

Samsung Galaxy S10 series was launched in San Francisco on February 20, 2019 (12:30 AM IST on February 21, 2019). And now the S10 series has come to India and its price, availability and pre-bookings have been disclosed. The smartphones will be available at the official site of the company, Amazon, Flipkart, Tata CliQ, Paytm and selected retail outlets. From March 8, 2019, the Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will go on sale in India. The customers who have pre-booked the smartphones will get the deliveries from March 6.

Price and availability of Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e in India

The Samsung Galaxy S10e will come with the price sticker of Rs 55,990 for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will come in two color options- Prism Black and Prism White.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 will come with the price sticker of Rs. 66,900 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage while 8GB of RAM and for 512GB variant, it will cost Rs 84,900. The 128GB variant will come in three color options- Prism Blue, Prism Black and Prism White. The 512GB variant will come in one color option i.e. in Prism White color.

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ will come with the price sticker of Rs.73,900 for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage, for 8GB RAM and 512GB internal memory variant, it will cost Rs 91,900 and 12GB RAM and 1TB onboard storage variant will cost Rs. 1,17,900. The 128GB variant will come in three color options- Prism Blue, Prism Black and Prism White. The 512GB and 1TB variants will come in two color option- Ceramic Black and Ceramic White.

The smartphones will be available from 8 March i.e. tomorrow on Samsung’s website, Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm, Tata CliQ and selected retail stores across India.

The customers who pre-ordered the smartphones will receive it from today. Airtel STore has loaded the plans with the S10 series. The customer can avail the launch offers on the smartphones which include cashback of up to Rs 6,000 on buying the S10 through an HDFC card, exchange bonus of up to Rs 15,000 on old smartphones, Netflix subscription for Vodafone users of worth Rs 6,000 and up to Rs 14,997 benefits for Jio subscribers.

Key features of Samsung Galaxy Galaxy S10 series

At the Unpacked event, Samsung also launched the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Among the three Galaxy S10-series, the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ are the first smartphones to get an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor which is said with the tagline "most advanced embedded fingerprint scanning method". The main highlight is the Infinity-O Display panels which are seen on all the three models.

The Galaxy S10-series smartphones come with Dynamic AMOLED displays which is the very first HDR10+ certified displays with the brightness of 1,200 nits. It is seen that the displays have the feature of light reduction along with much better colour accuracy, and outdoor visibility. The Samsung Galaxy S10e features a capacitive fingerprint sensor positioned on the home button. Samsung offers the model with a "premium experience in a compact size."

Samsung Galaxy S10-Series smartphones also features Wi-Fi 802.11ax support, Vapor Chamber cooling (on the Galaxy S10+), Dolby Atmos for Gaming, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 (30 percent faster than the former generation, relevant with WPC and PMA standards), and Wireless PowerShare (allows the users to charge other Qi Wireless charging devices like the Galaxy Watch Active, and the new Galaxy Buds, or other Qi-compatible smartphones with the help of the smartphone). Wired charging on all the three smartphones is compatible with Adaptive Fast Charging and Quick Charge 2.0.

Same like the Galaxy S generation, the Galaxy S10 series is also certified with IP68 for water resistance and dust. The Galaxy S10 series also features "AI-powered performance" due to which the most commonly used applications are preloaded by the software, based on the usage AI recommends Bixby routines and also has a feature of Adaptive Power which optimises the battery life that is based on usage. All the three smartphones will have dual SIM, based on the region.

Samsung at the event also launched the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G variant. The 5G variant smartphone sports the largest 6.7-inches Infinity-O Display with 505ppi, 8GB RAM, a 3D depth camera, and a huge 4,500mAh battery.
