Sony Xperia X Ultra Leaks Hint at 6.45-Inch Ultra Wide Display

Just like the leading smartphone manufacturing firms Samsung and LG, Sony is also expected to unveil its next flagship smartphone that’s tall and narrow. Some reports of a device dubbed as the Sony Xperia X Ultra are tipped in the smartphone market by MobileXpose. According to the reports, the upcoming device is believed to be blessed with a 6.5-inch display along with a screen aspect ratio of 21:9. Comparing the expected handset with the two flagship models, the Samsung Galaxy S8 features an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, whereas, the LG G6 is blessed with an 18:9 aspect ratio.

As per the reports, the upcoming Android smartphone is believed to be powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 platform coupled with 4GB of RAM. The handset is said to pack 64GB of inbuilt storage and run Android 7.0 Nougat. It is tipped to be powered by a 3050mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0. It is also expected to be blessed with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone is believed to be blessed with a 19-megapixel rear and 13-megapixel front camera, the same as the new Sony Xperia XZ Premium. This also hints the availability of 960fps super slow motion videos in the upcoming handset.

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is not available in the country yet, but the company has launched the Xperia XZs in the country. The company did not offer the Snapdragon 835 processor or a 4K display, still, the device features 960fps super slow motion camera.
