ZTE to Launch its Blade A2 Plus on February 3, in India

ZTE, the well known Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm has rolled out invitations for the launch of its upcoming smartphone Blade A2 Plus. The event is going to take place on Friday, February 3, 2017, and the handset will be the first smartphone of the company to be launched this year.

The Blade A2 Plus made its debut in China last year, and now is going to make its arrival in the country. A teased posted on Twitter by ZTE India CMO Sachin Batra, which shows the square-shaped camera on its rear side along with flash and a fingerprint scanner placed one below other vertically. A separate tweet also shows the ravishing battery performance. It comes with a massive 4900mAh battery with fast charging capability as a highlighting feature.

Coming up to further specifications, the Android smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with resolution 1080 X 1920 pixels. It is powered by the 64-bit MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Mifavor 3.5 OS and packs 32GB of inbuilt memory space, which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM smartphone is blessed with a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, dual-LED flash. An 8-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for shooting selfies. Connectivity options on the board include Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The handset measures 155 x 76.2x9.8mm and weighs 189 grams.

ZTE Blade A2

The handset launched in Gold and Silver colour variants along with two memory variants of 3GB and 4GB in China. The 3GB model of it was priced at CNY 1499 (Rs 15,000 approx) and the 4GB variant was priced at CNY 1,699 (Rs 17,000 approx) respectively. The company has not made any official statement about the variant of the new model, so, we just have to wait what ZTE has to offer across the country.
