An image of a navigation bar revealed by Google officially suggest that it includes a multitasking button, and the center home button looks far smaller and pill-shaped. Ron Amadeo, a blogger from ArsTechnica has managed to differentiate the changes in the new navigation bar and Apple flagship smartphone. The screenshot posted by Google represents the all-new home button which allows users to control gestures on Android P smartphones, whereas the Apple flagship smartphone has no Home Button that means the users have to depend on gestures and swipes. Additionally, the recently opened apps button is not available on the right-hand side of the screen and back button has disappeared when the dialog pop box appears on the screen of the smartphone.
In a conservation with Amadeo via Twitter, 9to5Google's Stephen Hall says that it is confirmed that the new Android version will come with gestures navigation. The gesture home button in Android P looks identical to the gesture navigation system currently available on Apple iPhone X, these days several smartphone manufacturers are trying to copy the latest iPhone. Though, it reveals creativity that the Google is trying to implement a feature in Android P Operating System that was previously introduced by its closest competitor Apple.
We have to wait for the developments and gesture controls that Google will provide on Android P. As of now, we are not pretty sure what is the full name of Android P, but Google revealed it on Instagram stories suggest that it is likely to be dubbed as “Android Popsicle”.
