Reliance Jio's MyJio, which is the official Android app for Jio subscribers, has successfully crossed 100 million downloads on Google Play Store. Reliance Jio, which was only launched 10 years back, is already one of the biggest telecom companies in the country. Along with the 100 million milestone, MyJio has also achieved a place in the top 10 free apps in Google Play. It is currently holding the ninth position in the list, which is further expected to improve seeing its growth rate in the past few months.

The app is said to have achieved this milestone in less than one year. MyJio is a complete service app for Reliance Jio users. In addition to providing updates about new offers, it allows users to check their balance, 4G data balance, recharge their Jio number, and link other accounts at one place. The app also gives direct access to all other Jio apps such as Jio music, Jio TV, movie, videos, news and more. It also has an inbuilt option for checking usage details for Wi-Fi and mobile data, call details, SMS, account statement, etc. Reliance has reportedly renewed its Dhan Dhana Dhan Jio offer only last month for existing Jio subscribers.
Other popular Jio apps like JioTV and Jio4GVoice are also not very far behind in terms of popularity as both apps have crossed over 50 million downloads on Play Store. The JioChat app is next with over 10 million downloads. A Reliance Jio representative said, “MyJio has crossed 100 million downloads on Google Play. It is the second Indian mobile application to cross 100 million download mark and first self-care mobile application from an operator.”
Other major Indian telecom companies like Airtel, Idea and Vodafone also have their dedicated apps for 4G service users on Play Store. Both My Airtel and MyVodafone apps currently have around 10 million downloads each.
