Bajaj Dominar 400 Garners 2500 Bookings; Deliveries Initiated

In the first phase, only 25 outlets out of 80 showrooms across 22 cities in the country will deliver the vehicle to theirs, respective owners.

Packed with the promising hardware, the fastest ever tourer, Bajaj Dominar 400, is packed with a powerful, single-cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-valve, DTS-i powertrain displaced by the 373.2cc. The engine borrowed from the KTM Duke 390 is tuned to fulfill the upcoming BS-IV emission norms, going to imply from April 2017. Mated to a six-speed gearbox transmission with a slipper clutch, the heart of the Dominar 400, pump out the massive power and torque figures of 34.5bhp at 8000 rpm and 35Nm at 8500 rpm respectively and transmit that to the rear wheel. With a strong initial response of 2500 units, the bike is likely to compete hard with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and could turn a number of RE buyers to Bajaj Dominar customers.
