At the launch event in New Delhi, Moto G5 was launched by Lenovo Today. It will be available in Fine Gold and Lunar Grey colours. The smartphone will start selling from Wednesday own-wards exclusively only on Amazon from 12am IST with a price tag of Rs 11,999. Moto G5 measures and weighs 144.3x73x9.5mm and 44.5 gms respectively. It consists of 2800 mAH removable battery along with a support of fast charging.
From the specifications side, the Size of the mobile is 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS LCD featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 441ppi pixel density. The performance duties are performed by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor and 3 GB RAM. It comes loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The internal storage memory is 32GB and it can be expandable via microSD card slot (up to 128GB).
From the camera's front, it features a 13 MegaPixel rear camera along with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash and a 5 MegaPixel Front Camera along with a wide- angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. some preloaded apps available on the phone are Kindle, Amazon Prime Video and Amazon applications.
From the connectivity side, Moto G5 supports 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone jack Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor and ambient light sensor are some features from the sensor board.
