LG Stylus 2 Price and Other Specs Revealed

Mobile World Congress 2016 - the biggest tech show was recently held in Barcelona Spain and it became a platform for major companies across the globe. South Korean company LG too unveiled many of its flagship products like LG G5 and LG Stylus 2. The same LG Stylus 2 is now available at a price of INR 22,000 (approx. KRW 396,0000) via company's official website. The company has not yet specified as to from when will the product will be made available however, recent reports have something else to say.

As per the latest reports from Yonhap News, the company might unleash the product in North America and Europe later this month. At the time of unveiling the product LG Stylus 2, the company had stated that the handset features a nano-coated tip that is way more advanced than the previous rubber-tipped pen that was originally seen on the LG G4 stylus.

In terms of specifications, the new LG Stylus 2 features a 5.7-inch In-Cell display that gives a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It comes equipped with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and offers 16GB of internal storage that would suffice the needs of most of the basic users. The device is powered by a 1.2-Ghz quad-core processor and it houses a whopping 3000mAh removable battery. It sports a 13-megapixel camera on the backside that further is paired with an 8-megapixel camera on the front side. The LG Stylus 2 measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4mm while it weighs 145 grams.

To complement the new stylus, LG has included some pretty new software features with the product like the Pen Pop, Pop Memo, and Pop Scanner. In here, The Pen Pop shows a popup menu when the stylus is removed and further offers shortcuts such as Pop Memo and Pop Scanner. Another feature by the name Pen Keeper notifies users when the stylus bay is empty.

In terms of software, this phablet ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, on top of which users would get LG’s very own custom UI. The device supports LTE, 3G, and 2G with some additional connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and Micro-USB. The company is offering Stylus 2 in three color variants namely Brown, Titan, and White.
