OnePlus 5 New Teaser Leak Points Horizontal Dual Camera Setup

After the confirmation of OnePlus 5 arrival, the smartphone market was filled up with rumours of the specifications, still, the camera setup of the smartphone remains a myth. Initially, we received a number of images with vertical dual camera setup orientation, and just as we started having faith in them, an alleged teaser image of the upcoming OnePlus 5 has now pointed to a horizontal dual camera setup at the rear side. Apart from that, some of the leaked camera samples show that it is showing a monochrome sensor.

The alleged teaser image of the upcoming flagship smartphone has been gained from Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo, which showed that the upcoming smartphone will be blessed with a horizontal camera setup. If it is true, then the smartphone will feature a dual-camera setup just like that on iPhone 7 Plus.

Moreover, a set of leaked images, which has been claimed to be taken from OnePlus 5 also shows that one of the sensors in the smartphone's dual camera setup will shoot in monochrome (black and white). The leaked image source has also expected that the rear camera setup will include a 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.8.

According to the official announcement, the OnePlus 5 Android smartphone will be introduced in this Summer and will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, a front-facing fingerprint sensor, and a camera developed in partnership with DxO. The company also teased a camera sample of the handset, which shows an excellent low light performance.

The leaked specifications shows that the GSM smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch QHD with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and runs Android 7.1 Nougat.
