Apple Confirms the Date of its Media Event to be March 15

Just last month i.e., December it was heard that Apple might unveil two of the most awaited tech products globally in a media event that was marked to happen somewhere around the first quarter of 2016. However, latest reports from 9to5Mac and Buzzfeed, the rumored date has finally been scheduled for March 15 and on the specific date, Apple might unwrap a bunch of new and intriguing hardware.

Of late the tech world has been buzzing with a lot of rumors as to what all would Apple showcase in the media event and now with a precise date, one gets a clear viewpoint on the major happenings of that event with quite an ease. Up first, we have the iPhone 5se which is an enhanced version of the iPhone 5s. Similar to iPhone 5s, the new iPhone 5se would come in a 4-inch form factor offering users a brief view of the Apple's next-gen technology.

The iPhone 5se doesn't mar the hopes of gadgets freak even in terms of its specs as what reports claim comes with a faster A8 processor and a new motion co-processor. It will also have Apple-Pay functionality since under the hood it packs an NFC chip. The device is slated to come in two variants, 16GB, and 64GB. However, it won't be equipped with 3D Touch feature that originally got featured on last year iPhone 6s models.

This is just one side of the story. Trustworthy sources also reveal that apart from iPhone 5se, Apple might also unveil the iPad Air 3, which has been pending for quite a long time. Some of the rumored features on Apple's next-gen tablet include a 4K display, 4GB of RAM, an enhanced sound system with 4 speakers, an LED flash for the camera, and a Smart Connector. It will be interesting to see if the iPad Air 3 can excite consumers in a way that the iPad Pro apparently failed to do in a meaningful way.

Additionally, the media event will likely see some minor updates to the Apple Watch and reports also suggest that Apple would likely introduce a selection of new bands and perhaps even outfit the Apple Watch with a video camera.
