Apple's New Campus Progress Well: Reports Matthew Roberts

Apple the Cupertino giant is working hard to design a new campus for its employees. Every month a new video gets live on YouTube that allows users to get a glimpse on the Apple Spaceship Project that is under construction from a long time.

Famous documentarian Matthew Roberts should be thanked for publishing videos every month with utmost sincerity. Taking in the same stride, Matthew has again come up with another new video for the month of August. The video gives a clear insight into the company's share stock stating it at 1.51% indicating that the work on the Apple Campus 2 has just begun, but things are still shaping quite nicely as is expected by the company.

To start with, the levish garden that resides in the middle of the spaceship is finally being started along side the security kiosk where people will be driving in. A large number of cranes are also working doubly hard and even the solar panels have been placed on the outskirts of the architecture waiting to get fitted on the top of the main construction.

Solar Panels being used in Apple Campus 2

Matthew Roberts uses a self-designed drone to make a documentary for the general public every month showcasing the campus progress. His latest documentary video shows that the circular building is stil under construction and process of adding up the glasses everywhere is underway. Despite this, it can be surely said though a lot more still remains to be done, but a lot has been achieved by the company which is commendable.

Dimensionally, the spaceship would acquire a space nearly equal to 2.8 million square feet and would be capable of seating 12,000 employees at a time. The entire project would be powered by a renewable energy source generated by the above mentioned solar panels that would take around 700,000 square feet of space with the addition of some small few cells. To promote the concept of Green Environment, the campus would also have a plantation of more than 7,000 trees, underground parking, new auditoriums, on-campus restaurants and a 100,000 square-foot corporate fitness center exclusively designed for the Apple employees.

Not just the fitness center which still is being designed, the campus also feature considerable number of basketball and tennis courts on the front side of the campus. Also, a massive amount of dirt that became a mountain over the past few months is now shrinking faster as the workers being made responsible for the construction are repurposing the dirt in the entirety to design a landscape that will be installed across the campus.

Last but not the least, the main part that defines Apple in the literal sense is its Research and Development Cell (R&D Cell). The video defines that even the R&D Cell is near to completion with proper air-conditioning units installed on the rooftop. Also, some smaller units of R&D centers are also being constructed in the nearby to facilitate the overall processing with ease.

Parking Structure to Take 2 million square feet area

The Apple Campus might come with a seating arrangement of 12,000 employees, but it definitely needs a better parking facility to equip the incoming cars. As what the video reveals, it looks like the parking space is not just astounding, but is massive and has bridges connecting different areas to other different office buildings. Area wise, it is expected that the parking structure will easily cover 2 million square feet area. The company expects to move on this campus by next year, and by the look of things, it can be said that this goal can surely be achieved soon.
