A video-calling feature introduce by Facebook is now globally available for everyone. Facebook Messenger has already marked its presence as a well-famed chat app among the youngsters, giving you an amazing experience while having conversations with your family and friends, which is second to none. The Video calling feature was globally introduced in the month of April, 2015; and now the firm has revealed the expansion of this newly added feature. Initially, Facebook is offering the video calling for 18 countries. The list comprise Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Laos, Lithuania, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, United States and Uruguay.

Facebook Messenger Video Calling

Detailing about the Video Calling feature, it is absolutely free for the aforementioned 18 countries. In order to have video conversations over Facebook messenger, the user just needs to update to the latest version of the Messenger iOS or Android app. Moreover, both the users who are having a video conversation should get the latest Facebook Messenger version. From now on, the Facebook Messenger with Video Calling feature will be rivaling against Google's Hangout, Microsoft's Skype and Apple's Facetime.

The Facebook officials have promised to introduce the Video Calling feature soon in remaining countries other than North America and Europe. Mr. David Marcus says, "We're happy to share we've now rolled out the capability globally, with the exception of a few countries we're still working on improving quality for. So make sure you get the latest and greatest version for iOS and Android, give it a try, and as always... tell us how we can make it even better for you!" Due to internet quality issues, the firm wouldn't be able to launch the app in various regions. For UAE, Marcus says that they would love to offer the service in the UAE, but operators are blocking it.
