In words of Kavin Bharti Mittal, CEO and founder of Hike messenger, Windows is our 2nd largest platform by users and they have been eagerly waiting for this update, which is the biggest we have ever released for Windows, and we are excited to finally get it in their hands.

Another important update which users might find interesting is the fact that unlike its previous versions, Hike now allows its users to have multiple administrators for each group with no limit henceforth. On the privacy front, users can now hide those chats which they wish to keep as private from the prying eyes giving them password protection if they find it necessary. This ability allows the users to have full control over the chat sessions, thereby allowing them to hide content from the push notification.

Just in case, if someone gets offline and the user wants to have a chat, he/she can now use the new SMS feature that allows the user to send a normal SMS without incurring any cost on their part. It also enables its users to express their emotions and opinions using a wide variety of stickers that gets regular updates depending upon the festival. It also comes equipped with the ability to deliver SMS to those users who aren't on Hike.

According to official sources, the new black theme that can be activated from the Settings option will not cause any eye strain and is battery friendly and that the user will be able to send multiple messages in the form of pictures, videos and text to more than one friend.
