Land Rover to debut new 9 speed Automatic Transmission 2013

British luxury SUV car manufacturer Land Rover has announced to present a new car with the specialty of 9-speed automatic transmission at Geneva Motor Show 2013. Rover is developing this brand new car with the leading transmission maker company ZF.

Both the giants are trying to give their best in the development of it. Expert says that presence of 9 gears will give better mileage and will lessen the emission of carbon Dioxide and sound. Its newbie 9 gear and will increase speed and smoothness when run on Indian road. It will have 9 horse power capacity and will be a new experience for those who are passionate about newbie and technology oriented cars. If we talk about its weight, it is 7.5 kg more than 6 speed automatic-transmission car.

The torque given by it will be about 270 to 480Nm, while bringing the fuel consumption improvements of upto 16 percent over the more common 6 gear option.
