BMW G310R Featured in a Comic Book for Promotion

The role of promotion and advertising plays a vital role in enhancing the goodwill of any product more than the product itself. Besides, when the product is nothing but an upcoming bike, the task becomes much harder. Here we are talking about the last year's beast BMW G310R, which is now being promoted in a very interesting way by the automaker.

BMW has done the advertising of its upcoming motorcycle in a completely different way by featuring it in a new comic book. Named as 'Riders in the Storm', the graphic novel features a policeman taking inspiration from a German model Makani Terror, an 'out-of-the-ordinary-street artist' and a 'wolf with exceptional powers'. The launch is expected to be done sometime in October with the concept to be created by none other than Riccardo Burchielli, the well-known Italian graphic artist who put his hands with DC, Marvel, and Dark House.

Dimension-wise, the BMW G310R is 1988mm long, 1227mm high, and has a wheelbase of 1374mm. Powering the tourer is a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that accelerates the motor by 34BHP of maximum power at 9500 RPM and 28NM of peak torque at 7500 RPM. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox. Braking responsibilities have been taken care by a 300mm front disc brake and 240mm at the rear. It offers dual channel ABS as well.

As the launch is quite near from now onwards, the BMW G310R is going to be the first 'Made in India' motorcycle, which will be introduced in the country.
