March 2015: RIP Suzuki Inazuma Indian Edition

Well, it's just a few weeks back, when the Suzuki Motors took away one of its quarter-liter sports motorcycle. Yeah!! That's the same what you are thinking about, Suzuki Inazuma. At the time of the removal from the official website, it wasn't confirmed by the firm whether it has discontinued or not. But, now, according to the latest release, the Japanese two-wheeler maker has confirmed the discontinuation of the Suzuki Inazuma from the Indian two-wheeler market. The Suzuki dealers will not be selling the quarter-liter sports motorcycle from the month of March, 2015.

Talking about the Suzuki Inazuma, it was introduced in the country in the starting of the current year. The Inazuma is the only quarter-liter segment sports motorcycle offered by the Suzuki Motors India. The sports motorcycle was launched in India carrying a price tag of Rs 3.10 Lacs (Ex-Showroom Delhi), which is pretty much heavy to the consumer's pocket as well. Due the hefty price tag, it wouldn't be able to make its mark in the 250cc segment motorcycles. After the introduction of various other 250cc sports motorcycle at a cheaper price, the manufacturer has dropped down its price to Rs 2.10 Lacs.
