Next Gen Volkswagen Beetle Launched in India at INR 28.73 Lacs

Volkswagen has introduced the next generation Beetle in India at the starting price of INR 28.73 Lacs. The bookings had already started in November at INR 1 Lakh along with a brochure that was made available online. Volkswagen is also aiming to launch the new Polo GTI as well as a compact sedan specially for Indian market. Despite the Dieselgate scam, the automaker has high hopes to enjoy favourable sales in the country with the help of upcoming models.

Coming back to the Beetle, there are various cosmetic elements that are found inside and out of the car that include 16-inch alloys, bi-xenon headlamps, fog lamps, power adjustable wing mirrors, rear spoiler and much more. Overall appearance is more or less the same, but portions like bumper and headlights can be seen with a subtle tweak.
