Believing the sources, the Microsoft is working on two new flagships Lumia phones. Both the under-construction smartphones are code named as Talkman and Cityman and supposedly be christened as Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL, respectively. These upcoming Windows smartphones are reportedly equipped with some high-end technical specifications and the top cherry over the cake is that they will be running on Windows 10 operating system.
The Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL will be the first ever smartphones featuring Windows 10 operating system and yeah!! Probably the high-end technical devices offered by the Microsoft. Cosmetically, the Talkman and Cityman have taken their design inspiration from the Microsoft Lumia 830, both will be featuring a decorative aluminum frame, whereas the back panel is made up of ubiquitous polycarbonate (plastic).
Detailing about the high-end features of the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL, the manufacturer has acquired a new USB format, USB Type-C connector, which would be coming as standard. The Phone Continnum would be the most anticipated feature to be carried by both the smartphones. The Duo will also be featuring an Iris scanner, wireless charging capabilities and much more.
Powering from the Hexa-Core processor with a Qualcomm chipset, the Lumia 940 will be running on a Windows 10 operating system. The firm will be offering 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in storage space, which can be expandable with the help of microSD card. Featuring a 5.2 inch of screen size with 1440*2560 pixels (QHD) screen resolution, it looks quite amazing while you will be holding it in your hand. The firm has installed 20MP rear snapper and a generously placed 5MP front camera.
While the Lumia 940XL comes with more decent Octa-Core processor with 32 GB of expandable memory. Carrying a 20MP main camera and 5 MP selfie snapper, it gives you an amazing 5.7 inch screen size with QHD display. The Cityman or Lumia 940 XL has carried a 3300 mAh battery life.
